Morgan Silver Dollar Coins
Morgan silver dollars, were produced by the U.S. mint and designed by George T. Morgan were minted from 1878 to 1904 and again for one more year in 1921. In 1921 the Morgan silver dollar was replaced by the U.S. Peace dollar. Mint marks on the Morgan silver dollar coin appear underneath the tail feathers of the bald eagle on the reverse of the coin between the letters D and O in Dollar. Morgan silver dollar coins were minted by the Philadelphia Mint, the Carson City Mint, the Denver mint, the New Orleans mint and the San Francisco Mint.
